Google might release new version of its Chromebook soon

Google chromebook is laptop powered by Google Chrome OS. This is work like thin client device, design purpose for internet and cloud service. The first release on June 15, 2011 Acer, Samsung introduces this bundling product at Google I/O conference. But Google itself enter market in 2013, same with Lenovo and Hewlett Packard.

Chromebook directly sold to official retail partner, which main target is school. From that October 2011 Google beginning marketing campaign for this product, unfortunately this product didn’t get good market response. Some reviewers said skeptical and critical response, after that Acer and Samsung give lower price and Google announce Chromebook pixel with high specification device.

Chromebook purchase come with Google Chrome OS, is operating system developed based on Linux kernel and certainly Google Chrome Browser with integrated media player. Google claim this multi  security feature, make invulnerable against computer virus. Like other, also support camera, keyboard, mouse or any peripheral device. Majority this product design in many versions is no more than 1,8 Kg, so very slim and light.

In this early 2015, Google very possible to evolve new version, some blog claim unreleased new chromebook code named “Samus” run on 5th generation intel processor and have several feature like C type USB 3.1 which able to transfer data in 10 Gbps same as new MacBook Air, Backlit Keyboard and High Resolution Touchscreen Display. Many people believe in may this will release at annual I/O conference end of may 2015. Google chromebook price estimated around $1300
