GoPro announced a new camera in the middle of the year: the Hero+ LCD. After the GoPro Hero 4 Silver Edition, the Hero+ LCD is the second model offering a touching screen. This middle entry level GoPro will cost $299.
Here are some Hero+ LCD characteristics:
- It can shoot at speeds up to 1080p 60fps
- It shoots 8MP photos with a burst rate of 5fps
- Waterproof up to 40 meters
- Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth radios
Like its little sister the GoPro Hero, the Hero+ comes with a non removable waterproof case. If you need to remove the micro SD card, you will have to open the back panel to access it. However, like the Hero, a negative point may be its non removable battery, meaning you won’t be able to change battery when you are running out of it. It’s also hard to expect an additional battery, as the LCD screen is on the back.
